Nationals vs Marlins, Game 3
« Topic Start: September 12, 2010, 10:50:17 AM »
Time: 1:35pm
Place: "Your name could be here" Nationals Park
TV: ? the Nats site won't load for me, it's MASN 1 or 2 and DC 50

Lineups:
Nationals
1. Ian Desmond, SS
2. Adam Kennedy, 2B
3. Ryan Zimmerman, 3B
4. Adam Dunn, 1B
5. Roger Bernadina, LF
6. Michael Morse, RF
7. Nyjer Morgan, CF
8. Ivan Rodriguez, C
9. Jordan Zimmermann, SP

Bad Guys
9 players that are not as good but will likely win.

It's unreal that Nyjer is such a baby that they had to ask Pudge to go 8th.

I don't understand why Riggleman keeps trotting Kennedy out there, even on a day when Espinosa did nothing with the bat he saved a run or two with his defense.

Maybe not having a hit in the last 4 games(0-13) Riggleman thought he'd give him a break.  Then he can turn him loose on the Braves. Kennedy also only has 1 AB since Sept 6th.

Why in the hell is Bernadina batting 5th?  A league average CF bat shouldn't be in front of Morse batting 6th.  The obvious 5-8, at least for someone who gets the most basic aspects of baseball, is this:

5-Morse
6-Bernadina
7-Sludge
8-Flush

Oh, and there's no reason not to play Kennedy.  Espinosa should be getting 3-4 stars per week with Kennedy getting the rest.

That lineup looks like it was put together by a drunken monkey. Hell, that's an insult to drunken monkeys everywhere. What a ridiculous joke.

This lineup looks like it was put together by Jim Riggleman.

That non-strike will cost Zimmermann an inning.  >:(

The radio makes it all so much more bearable. Charlie's voice is soothing, you can space out, and you can do something else while you listen.

Is Ladson going to blame Dunn for that error?

Dunn wasn't ready for the throw and it distracted Desmond ... :)

....Dunn's lack of range makes the infield play more to their left and made the play harder for Desmond.

Nats need to work the count today, take advantage of the zone.
