Ugh. Where is all this Rigglemania coming from? It must be the one year anniveresary. :hang:

Yup

I just love how people bash on Riggleman and blindly support Davey, yet Riggleman had a better record last year with the same talent. Don't get me wrong, Riggleman bailed. But everyone wants to say how awful he was, even though he had the team winning.

i liked riggleman.  nor did i bash him.  i just said he's known for being more of a vet's manager.  it's pretty much a given that was his style.

Why are we shocked at this? This has been the organization's MO for years.

I'm all for DeRosa being activated, so long as it's accompanied by a trip to the DL for Zimmerman and/or Nady being DFA'd.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they sent Moore down. After all, it's not like he has gotten on base 50% of the time since being recalled.

Before the weekend, i thought there were some Davey quotes about this being a put up or shut up weekend for Nady.

are you a real person or a bot?  50%?!?!  what kind of number is that.

he does have a .899 OPS in 44 plate appearances.  he needs a chance.

The Nationals are better than Joe Gibbs at making up injuries.

DeRosa and Lombo can platoon at third. Moore can go full time to LF.

If DeRosa can get back to his career norms, he hits lefty pitching well. Lombo struggles against lefties, so that works out well for the Nats.

That's what should happen anyway.

Genius plan.  If you add their OBP's together, then you're over .500!  Brilliant!

Wow, we really need a sarcasm smilie or something

He has an OBP of .560

I've wanted him to start since he got here. It was ridiculous of Davey and Rizzo to bring him up and sit him. The guy should be starting darn near everday with Zimmerman out of commission.

Don't confuse a hot streak with a good team.

Riggleman is a career documented loser. He sucked when he was with the Cubs. He sucked when he was here and he walked out on the team on the middle of a hot streak. Good riddiance to bad rubbish. He might be better Manny Acta but so would a Screech sock puppet.

It might be because our only legimate managers have been Johnson and Robinson and Johnson is clearly the better manager of the two.

No nostalgia here.
