it's respect.

OR

Zimmerman is a fastball hitter who often swings at junk, and everyone knows it.

But I guess that wouldn't fit your reality.

All one-run losses aren't equal.  We've been down by one run for most of the game (5 innings now) and "things" have happened, unusual things, belief-defying things to keep us from scoring more.

This loss is much worse than the Pujols walkoff which was also a one-run loss.
yep. and at least those losses to St. Louis were against a good team.

there is no excuse to play like this against the freaking Padres.

sinful. tomorrow we actually face a good starter in Richard.

If we can't beat bad starters and we always get dominated by good starters, who can we beat? This isn't a good offense, period. They show glimpses of being good but that's it.

shut the hell up, Carpenter.

we are about to lose our 4th in a row. i don't give a freak how the losses occurred. I would have rather lost all four games 10-0.

those ABs by Willingham and Dukes epitomize the Nats offense.

two strikeouts on 6 total pitches.

WTF is that?! No reason for Dukes to be stuck in the WMP rut. They need to set the pitch machine to throw low and away slides and have Dukes just work at it until he corrects that hole.
