freak it, just give up a grand slam. This reminds me of the 4th game of the season when we blew a 6-0 lead against the Phils.

He didn't go 6 innings anyway so he wasn't in line for a quality start.

Unearned runs, are they not?

Why even carry a bat to the plate?

Coste hit by pitch by Estrada, Werth scored, Feliz to third, Burrell to second.

Nationales 6
Filthies 3

Estrada's walk-HBP combo didn't help.

I'm not sure what that means but the runs were still earned.

Redding should have finished the inning with a 6-0 lead and 2 outs. He rolled over like he always does.

Estrada pitched Burrell real well but the ump missed a strike and it cost him. Burrell is a freaking worthless goon that can't hit.

Besides that HBP was "payback" for the HBP against our guys earlier...

We are going to regret not scoring more either. We had a golden opportunity last inning and failed and now we look lifeless.

If that's the case it was a stupid move but I don't believe that's true anyway.

Huge momentum shift. We really need a reliever to come in and shut the door.

Rivera scares me. He's been awful lately and has walked far too many.

"Wrong-O, buffalo chips breath!" is my father's preferred method of informing someone that they are not in possession of the facts. However, SI.com has just updated its website to change the runs from unearned to earned, so I presume that it is now my breath which bears a waft of a certain piquant Western aroma.

Aren't you watching the game? What made you think the runs were unearned?

That SI's website had them down as such. I live in Houston (and don't have TV).
