That's fine. But pissing and moaning about Logan Kensing is stupid. They are throwing crap against the wall to see if anything sticks, because there's no other options.

But it's their fault we have no options!

Ron Villone=Kip Wells as a lefty
You were crying for Mock for weeks
Wagner isn't healthy yet and has never shown us anything.
Bergmann is Bergmann, no guarantee he will ever get it together.
Clippard has never had ML success.
This is crap to try, but it's no solution.
Mock is a cocky nag. He just sucks. what a bust.

Bergmann can be successful as a reliever. I'm confident in that.

Clippard has pitched well in Cuse. I'd like to see him get a long look up here. don't like send him down after 1 poor outing or anything. just keep him up here for long term in the pen. I think he would succeed.

Villone may = Wells but Villone has a better track record than Wells.

Wagner has done well this year: 11.2 IP 8 H 4 R 3 ER 0 HR 6 BB 8 K (0-0, 2 Saves, 2.31 ERA, .190 BA against)

Is it? They trusted the wrong people - but if a baseball guy that's been around a long time says, bullpen's fine, Ted Lerner goes back to his real estate business.

SF just thoroughly listed the other options.

Wagner is in AAA
You were confident in Mock and screaming about him going to AAA

This is still dumpster diving, just within our dry farm system.

NOBODY thought this was going to be a good bullpen!  Nobody with a brain, at least!

I certainly didn't!  Do I know more about baseball than the Lerners?

The Lerners are not Peter Angelos, they don't sign off on minor deals.

The cheapness stuff is starting to get pretty fishy as blue pointed out last year.

Wagner was a former first round pick. I think he's got a chance. we'll never know if we don't give him a call up.

Mock has good stuff but for whatever reason he just doesn't throw quality strikes any more. he's a douche bag who thinks he's better than he really is so that doesn't help his cause.

I don't know about you but I'd rather see some of those guys than this bullcrap we are putting on the mound like Kensing, Tavarez, etc. these guys are has-beens who's careers are over.

I'm agreeing with you.

But it's not a solution. The solution is to make trades or overpay in the offseason.

Ted Lerner is an jerk.  His brother owned 49% of the business.  After a disagreement, Ted fired him and had him banned from the building.  (Never own less than 50%.)

Kensing, Tavarez, and Wells aren't has-beens.  They are never-was's.

I didn't think they would be great but I thought they would be serviceable.

Did you really expect them to be this historically bad? Rivera going down the gutter because of the WBC was a dagger.

Did the WBC erase his ability to keep the ball down and throw strikes?

Tell that to Julian's 16 year 20+ million dollar major league career.

NJ/Kearns/Willingham should be dealt. the fact that he has waited this long is bad enough. like some people on here have said, these trades should have been made before the season.

The trades may not have been there. Jamie Walker for Kearns straight up makes a lot of sense.

We may have to trade some of our "prospects" for guys that have some team control left.
