Dont forget metro closes at midnight!

...twenty-one minutes to midnight in the case of the all-important Green Line to L'Enfant and beyond - doesn't hurt to remind people every few posts (see my earlier post in this thread for last-train times at other key stations: http://www.wnff.net/index.php?topic=26506.25;msg=1008837)

Apparently in Radioland there is still a choice - the ESPN Sunday Night Baseball crew or Charlie & Dave (according to both the Post and the AM-980 site).

I didn't even think of that, I'd be pissed if I were to have to spend my last half of the work day sans Charlie and Dave

Metro had to screw a lot of Maryland fans out of a chance to go to the game today.

I am NOT and REFUSE to ride the bus to Fort Totten.

To hell with you Metro I swear.

Why would they not extend for this?

If the game goes into extras, a lot of people are going to be screwed

To watch the ads for this game on ESPN, you'd think it was the Philadelphia Phillies vs Bryce Harper.

As promised, Davey goes with the same lineup as yesterday: Desmond, Lombo, Harper, Werth, Tracy, Espinosa, Ankiel, Ramos, Zimmermann

Davey's an idiot.  Unless we score a ton of runs, in which case he's a genius :mg:

Not going tonight either - decided it wasn't worth the logistical headaches (theoretically I could spend more time travelling to/from the ballpark than actually watching the match, given how seldom the Yellow line and the necessary feeder buses run Sundays), particularly with rhe fact that I have to go to work at 06.00 tomorrow (and weekdays generally)...I don't mind 20.00 starts in basketball, soccer or (non-playoff) hockey since one more or less knows when the match will end, but I hate such starts in baseball (at least immediately prior to work days).

My ticket is posted on StubHub (312/A/1, flat STH price of $20) - if you ever wanted to discover the TBSITH experience for yourself, now's your chance. - ticket now sold - whoever's in TBSITH tonight, enjoy! [edited at 17.11]

So sayeth the spider from the locked Game 2 thread, "Yeah stay the freak out all season long and into the playoffs.  :)"

Love you too brother.  :P     Look if this crap works and we win 10 in a row, you'll be on the bandwagon proselytizing my genius.

You know you ain't lying.

AdamKilgoreWP: Adam LaRoche had an MRI today on his right oblique that revealed a bruise, not a strain. That's very good news. He swung, hopes for Tuesday.

The Rays have lost.  The best record in baseball is available to anyone who wants it...actually, it's available to three teams.  :D

Very bad news for the Pirates.  Now we need an update on Morse.

MarkZuckerman: The #Nats worked out Wilson Ramos' younger brother David, a pitcher, this afternoon. Wilson caught him.

That's pretty cool.

O's are tied 6-6 with the Sox in the top of the 11th.

Can't believe the O's are possibly looking at first in the AL East going into May. Thats just unheard of.

I just don't believe they are legit.

They aren't on this board ....  :)    Kind of makes the matchup down the road look like a good one.

Is Zimmm off of the DL and eligible to pinch hit tonight?  I'm guessing I would have heard about it if he was.

I am. Going to the O's- Nats game on May 19th. It would be cool to see if the Nats and the O's are still first in the AL/NL East.
