Shiner Bock was a love affair I started in college, and consummated many a time. I have told Belgians to their faces that Shiner is the best beer in the world, and endured their ribbing. Of course the second best beer in the world I had in Belgium.  Shiner is best from the keg.

I was expecting a hearty, flavorful beer, but for how dark it is it tastes watery and thin to me.

I'd put up Anchor Porter   :worship: , or Brooklyn's Chocolate Stout  against it any day.
