Haha some of you guys are brutal.  I would like to see him get a few more games in before we ship him back via the bus.  He hit the ball hard twice yesterday (one for a hit, one he was robbed) and laid down a decent bunt.

We have had some posters bragging about his speed here for months. Some guys are obsessed with useless speed.
It's only 2 games. One thing Bernadina has been doing well is having long ABs. He's just not squaring up on the ball. I'd like to get a little bit longer look before we give up on him.

I think they'll wait to demote Bernadina until Kearns is ready to return.

i know, just saying thats what they should do.

who will they get rid off to bring up ballester?

Was that Logan's number also?

I believe so.  Position too.  Kinda scary.

I'd like him lower in the batting order.

I agree with Bob and Don. How are you going to swing at the first pitch when you don't even know what the guy is throwing?

Did anyone discuss the insanity of Manny using up all 3 catchers? What if something happens?

For the last time, that bunt was NOT decent. I even went back and watched the bunt again on my DVR and it was not even close to being decent. The other ball in which he was robbed was not hit hard. It had a chance to bloop over the 3B but it didn't. The point some people are making is that his speed is useless if he can't get on base on his own.

I think he is about to get the call from the Canadian team as well.

Without a runner on, that clinches this being game 42 since Ramirez has had an RBI other than by a HR.  The situational hitting and LOB for the Marlins are hideous.

I don't think anyone here will be shedding tears over that considering our track record.  :?
