I predict a blowout, since I'll be there. But at least it won't rain.

Lannan's due for an 8 inning 2 hitter.  In a 5-0 Nats win!!!
   We hope!!!

Isn't it something that Randy Johnson has more wins than the Nats organization in DC!  I think I am right on that one.

No question that Harris deserves the playing time over Kearns.

Kearns has looked like this year's WMP over the last month. He's just a complete mess at the plate looking worse than most pitchers. He's a major weak link in a lineup. And that is a big blow to an offense. You have to have guys like Guz, Nick, RZ, and Dunn all on fire to make up for a lineup with a pitcher and a guy that is an automatic out and rally killer. Dukes hasn't been productive either, but at least he is not someone that other teams pitch around others to get to. You can't give other teams an out to pitch to both at number 6 and number 9 in the lineup.

Harris in CF, Dukes in RF? I can't remember which way the numbers run in the OF, but it's LF to RF, right?

Correct.  7 = LF, 8 = CF, 9 = RF.

So, will MacDougal get his first chance as the new closer tonight?  Doesn't look good given our problem with Maine.

Runge behind the plate. He is one of the worst in the league.

Picking that one off that muddy infield and getting rid of it like that was a neat trick.

Carp said a Mets fan threw the ball back onto the field.  Any way we can find out if that guy gets tossed?
