Nieves still on bench, so after Bard singles Gonzo can run for him and score on Belliards double!
Bard never listens to me

Rizzo looks pissed off. It's your own fault, Mike! Get these mother freakers off the roster!!

Belliard takes two fastballs down the middle and then chases a breaking ball buried in the dirt.

Harris takes a 2-0 inner half fastball and then swings at a breaking ball in the dirt

Well pitched game by the Nats, but that hurt.

Our pitch recognition and plate awareness are by far the worst in baseball. and it's not even close.

always take juicy fastballs down the middle and chase crap way out of the zone.

They got "cheap" runs.

I don't think this team fully gets what the role of "The Spoiler" is.  :|

the Nats' offense is helpless against good or even average pitching.

watch, they will look like world beaters again when they face crappy starters in San Diego.

it's not good enough. you have to be able to compete against the best and we aren't able to do that.

Bard is the worst player on the roster.

just god awful. god awful!

Bard- .649 OPS
Nieves- .596 OPS

Bard- 4.86 ERA (should go down today)
Nieves- 5.28 ERA

By almost any metric, the team is better with Bard. Just stop the slurp fest with your boyfriend. No one buys him being anything more than a AAA catcher.

Forgot to hit? This spring the idiot Manny Acta put Austin Kearns in the line-up infront of both Willingham and Dukes. Dukes this year never got a chance to get into a rythem. He was in and out of the line-up bascially everyday, then he went to Triple A. Now thats hes back and playing everyday he starting to get into a rythem. Hes 8 out of his last 19 and we are starting to see in short spurts what he can do if we give him time.

Dukes would be on the verge of 100 RBI's if it wasn't for all of that nonsense.
