Serviceable? By far the best of the mid-range American bourbons to my taste. Beam is coarse, something about Jack Daniels never quite worked for me, but Wild Turkey fits the palate a little too well.
If it's too strong for you you can always cut it with vermouth, a dash of bitters and a Maraschino cherry. 
The 101? I like the regular stuff but not the 101. I'm not one to do shots so I wanted something good enough to just sip.
