Is it down to Bergmann and Batista for the who should get sent down sweepstakes?
I saw some flashes of potential for Batista, but Bergmann really looks awful. Either way, it's pretty much a tossup. The other will likely be replaced by Drew Storen soon.

Oh yeah, forgot about Tyler Walker. He could always be a mop up type guy. I think he has slightly more upside than Batista and Bergmann. I'm not sure if any of them have options remaining, that will be a huge factor in the decision.

I posted it yesterday. Kilgore made a mistake in that post. Walker is out of options.

uh-oh Roarin Storen ...

I thought this year posters who started the previous game's winning gameday thread, wouldn't post the next.  If we lose today, it's on you!

The odds of beating Santana with Livo starting are practically nil

Hi, my name is Adam, and I'm here with my friend Josh.  We are here today meeting with you guys to explain what this wooden club is used for.  It is called a bat.  When you swing it at a hard white ball with seams, it can make it move in the opposite direction in the air.  No Guz, you have to aim at the ball with the club in order to make it fly the other way.  Watch Livan throw it.  You'll see a lot of balls getting hit by bats.

I hope Dunn listens to his speech before the game.  We need a little more than his astounding .143 BA to have much of a chance with Zim out.

My thoughts exactly. He isn't exactly the guy to talk to about hitting right about now.

Mets lineup:

SS Jose Reyes
2B Alex Cora
3B David Wright
LF Jason Bay
1B Mike Jacobs
RF Jeff Francoeur
CF Gary Matthews Jr.
C Rod Barajas
P Johan Santana

Cora, Jacobs, AND Matthews Jr. This is the All-Trash Team Vs. the All-Trash Team lineup.

Oh, come on...Phil has his uses. Who else are we going to ask when we want to know what scent of Herbal Essence shampoo the players are using in the locker room?
