I just climbed the ladder to the crawl-space attic and went out the hatch onto the roof, and it's already blowing rather mightily. Of the two cans of rustoleum rubber spray that I tried to spray on seams where (I think) water got in during Sandy, maybe 25% actually made contact with a surface.
Interesting though, the white rubber spray turned green when it came into contact with some of the roofing material. Hope it doesn't all dissolve...the xylene fumes were bad enough without my having made the problem worse
freaking roofers, may they come down with the creeping crud wherever they are now.
