boooooooo.. Armas is a terrible pitcher, no way around it.  He flat out blows

Yes. Yes he is, but watch him throw a no hitter against us next year.

why didn't we get rid of TA at the trade deadline?  my only regret.  He gets too cutesy when he's ahead of batters.  He nibbles when he's afraid to go after a batter.  UGH!

Why didn't we do anything at the deadline?

Who would the Nats have traded him to? Would you want him on your team?

I bleepin hate Tony Armas.

At least he wont be around next season, unless the Nats change their mind about moving towards youth and pitching. Armas is a thrower, always has been. He's not worth show sole scrapings.

Also, as much as you hate Armas right, now, I hate Frank Robinson even more. The sooner the Nats gets REAL manager, the better.

we said that last year.

but since Bowden doesn't have a  clue how to acquire and keep quality pitching, we were forced to bring him back.

meh.

hopefully he's gone for real this time, next season.

I don't blame Bowden for the $20 MLB and Selig gave him for free agency.

They were interested in him pitching against them. They figured that would help their playoff run more than him pitching for them.

Man, I've been saying this all season. We need more overpowering pitchers. I'm tired of these finese pitchers. Our entire pitching staff consists of finese pitchign except Cordero, Rauch, and now Bowie. Even Livan is a finese pitcher. And the thing we have finese pitchers who can paint the strike zone!!!

my MVP 2005 dynasty:
The Washington Nationals traded Tony Armas JR to the St Louis Cardinals for LHP Ricardo Rincon and RHP Anthony Reyes. What a steal for me  :D

ummm let's see waiting in the farm:

RHP Jason Bergmann ... 4-0 in his last four starts ? 4-0 with a 3.97 ERA and struckout 27 in 22.2 innings in 6 starts during the month of July.
