I'll go out on a limb and say growing seasons are different in North Dakota and Florida

Dammit, for some reason I'm really craving fruit, but as far as I know, there is nothing in season right now.

i've been getting some pretty good navel oranges lately. apples a little hit or miss. honey crisps not so much, pink ladies have been ok

I had a good mango a couple weeks ago. Must have been in season somewhere.

Every time I see Chemist's avatar, I kind of want to dig out my road kill cookbook.

Ali - what kind of butter and bread do you use?  Also, do you like yours with pickles or anything else in them?

I use Swiss and Sweet Munchee, butter, a slice of tomato and oregano. Delish!

:wtf: I order Rigatoni Bolognese and when I get it is when they inform me that they are out of Rigatoni and used Tortellini noodles instead.  Bastards.

I'm sure they did.  I mean I ate it all, of course, but I would have ordered something else if they had told me when I ordered.

Caribou sent out an email surveying their mailing list on whether they would eat fancy grilled cheeses if they added them to their their menu.  I forget how they described them.

To me, there are just too many ways to get bacon, mayo, and cheese on fast food and casual dinners.  same for sh!tty sausage.  Anyone every heard of a tomato, green pepper, and onion with your fried egg sandwich?  Oh, this isn't the vent thread. . .

That's old school trad...that requires the old surplus bread bag ladies feed to pigeons in the park.  If you really want authenticity, you need to be wearing an orange jumpsuit and ankle shackles.
