You're angry ... I get it ... the Nats are hard to watch -I dont' want to turn this into a fight -us Nat's fans are all in the same big leaky boat - clearly the results aren't there ...

Agreed.  Let's not fight among ourselves.

Ray KINGS Gonzalez with a home run slapped out.

Nationals 3

You know what's really obnoxious is how we manage to continuously out-hit teams and yet still lose by several runs.

Yeah, but it is not just hits, it's about getting on base. Walks kill our pitchers, and our low OBP is killing the batters.

After this game concludes, the Nationals offense will have piled up a hefty 84 runs in 28 games.  That's exactly 3.00 runs per game.  This team has to play perfect to win.  With this offense the only way they can win is if they shut down the opponent and win a 3-2 or 2-1 type of game which is difficult to do consistently.

I'm well aware of that, the reason I mentioned it because in games where you play good fundamentals, the team with the most hits generally wins.  The fact that we're able to lose consistently with (sometimes substantially) more hits than the teams we're losing to is a perfect demonstration of what crappy ball we're playing.

Yeah, his quotes were a bit over the top, but as long as he does it without psyching himself out, I like it.

That much?  That's got to be like 1.5 runs per game with a few games where we scored 5 or 6, because we definitely DON'T put up 3 runs per game
