Well we got a single and 3 doubles and only managed to score 2 runs.

Once again I would like to make known my dislike of the stupid Ricoh commercial that tries to portray cubicle farms as an adventurous creative lifestyle

To me, it DOES NOT look like Felipe has been hustling lately, or on that particular play.

Yeah I thought the same thing. He could've made that play at least a little closer.

he's been so worthless for so long...he doesn't have a whole lot of slack with us Shoeshine.

Yeah, I know, I should have put the smiley on the end of that.

What's incredible is that what we just saw happen with Young and Lopez is what was expected to happen after Church was held by Tolman. It's a minor miracle that we plated two.

Be charitable - Fick is going through a personal crisis ... he's not playing well, but he shows up everyday and does whatever he's asked to do ... let's not bash Fick ...  it's bad karma ...

He's asked to hit .100 and not hustle to first base or score from 2nd base on a double?

I think we all feel for Fick's personal situation, and credit him for playing through it. But my impression of Fick is that he would have gotten a good laugh from that dig.

I know what you're saying wpa...but he's a baseball player.  I can feel sorry for his personal issues but as long as he's littering my playing field I'm gonna expect him to perform.  Otherwise...go take care of your personal issues on your own time.

You're angry ... I get it ... the Nats are hard to watch -I dont' want to turn this into a fight -us Nat's fans are all in the same big leaky boat - clearly the results aren't there - I just don't see any benefit to kicking a man when he's down ... but that's just me ...

King is flat out bad.. 3 hard hit balls to LF, he was lucky the first 2 were caught.  Ok, onto the 8th.  Can our 2-3-4 hitters get anything going?

If he's too down to work properly...then he shouldn't be returning to work until he can.  That's all I'm saying.

I hate having King face a good righty with 2 outs and bases empty.

I'm more mad at Lopez's lack of hustle, I don't expect anything of Fick.  I say we bench Lopez when Guzman comes back and let Belliard play second.  I don't care who leads off, it's not like it matters anyway.

I certainly do if he's going to take the damn field or pick up a bat with a Nationals uniform on!

I guess the point is ... what else do we have? Not exactly a stocked cubbard full of goodies there on the bench ... Perhaps that's one of the reason's for the Langerhans trade - he is a viable back up for first base ... something to consder ... hmmmm ...

I still for the most part like him, even if he sucked tonight.  Not like Jamie Carroll, but he's pretty versatile (though his latest performances have not been pretty).

Some real eye-candy at Petco Park...are people here REALLY that ugly?  Ooops, my shallow.

Good point.   ;)
