Merely POSTING that a bunt home run was hit against a Nationals farm team was enough to TOTALLY CURSE THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  BURN DOWN the Prince William County Stadium...  TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Why didn't you take him out three batters ago, MORON!  He's never played AAA.  Send him down...

Nacionalez 1
Padrez 5

Speigner to pitch

The Royals beat the Angels today so we will be tied with them for the worst record in baseball after tonight.

We're already into May and have yet to win a series.
That has to be close to a record.  It's a shame too because we have won the first game of a bunch of series only to lose the next 2 every time. The Nats are now 0-7-3 in terms of series including this one.

I dunno .. except for tonight, I thought the pitching has been great the last couple of weeks - regardless, it's going to be a rough year - no matter what happens - no sense getting wrapped around the axel about it ...

I don't want to kick a dead horse, but remember when i said Chico sucked? His game vs the Mets was a mirage.

Chico's group did not get what they were hoping to see.

:icon_mrgreen: That's funny. Maybe he should be the one sent down first.

I just assume for this year that a Chico start equals a loss. I wish I could say that it makes these games alot easier to watch.  :?

A late good evening to all, I have been busy with my chiefly exercising and fiddling with the computer.  Got back just in time to see Bowden's interview about the Snelling/Langerhans trade.  What do we need with yet another outfielder?  I guess those who say Church will be traded could be right.  I hope not, but we'll see.

I also see we're getting blown out (at least by Nationals standards) by a combination of the usual factors...  terrible offense, bad luck, and stupid pitching.

Flores pinch hitting here? Why?  Speigner hasn't pitched very much at all lately, why not let him pitch 3-4 innings?

I keep telling myself that Fick stays around because he gives us an extra catcher but how long can that continue to save him?

The Nats have scored 5 or more runs in 6 out of 27 games this season... Flores grounds out.

Ouch, that ball off of Bard's crotch looked pretty nasty. I guess MASN didn't want us seeing that aftermath.

Wow, we may be the first team to play 3 catchers by the 5th inning voluntarily.
