So much for all that stuff about Chico shining in front of his home state fans.

i feel bad for Chico - with Fick in the lineup and schneider batting 6th - he probably already feels that he has no chance any more

3 walks, wild pitch, triple, tied game = we don't have a manager tonight.

Langerhans might not be as fast as Logan, but he's just as good at catching the ball.  And they're both pretty fast.  I say he starts in CF.

He definitely should not be in the big leagues right now.

I meant bases loaded with 1 out in a tie game = rough ... (of course I get that it's his own doing - but he is still just a rook ...)

Perfect.. Pop up drops in and Chico gets drilled by Giles and the game is over and the Nats lose yet another series.. They've been playing for about a month now and still haven't won 1 damn series.  We have to be the only team in baseball with that impressive feat.  Disgusting

OK if 48 at-bats isn't enough how about 705 career at-bats?  In those 705 at-bats he is hitting .241 and has struck out 190 times in those 705 at-bats.  He strikes out 27 % of the time.

BA is almost a meaningless statistic. OBP is far more important, and the years where he was getting 300+ ABs, his OBP was .350. Given the part-time status, that's pretty good. Also, that number of Ks is not an inordinate number, not that Ks are really all that important anyway. His numbers show a decent track record. But he is very good defensively.

We're already into May and have yet to win a series.

You sound surprised by this? This is exactly how this year was going to go == some great moments, sure ... but mostly alot of eyesores ... this is a patchwork quilt of rookies and unprovens ... there are going to be nights like this - no sense getting disgusted with what will be inevitable nights /games just like this ...

They have 5 runs on 4 hits. That's taking advantage of bad pitching, unlike our boys.
