and another random hit... this is hilarious.  How many groundball hits does Florida have tonight?

The one thing I do know, if some of you guys were on this team, you WOULD pack it in when down by 1 in the 6th inning. Just because you would, doesn't mean that the Nats would. Man, I would not like it at all if you guys were on my pick up basketball teams. I try to avoid those people at all costs.

Don't judge me because of my one post. I'm one of the most optimistic people on this board.
Tonight we just don't have the breaks.

Look at the last play for example. the bunt falls in the exact right place for a base hit...

That one wasn't a bad break. That was excellent execution.

And, with all those lucky hits, we're only down one...

Now, how about a DP!

Nice to see Hill given the chance to pitch 7 and possibly still get the win.

Now, how about a DP!

Won't happen.  It's not in the stars, tonight.

Were those pills you took before the game marked? I think they were depressants. ;)

With the way our starters have pitched lately combined with the day off on Thursday and the arms added, we should have a fresh bullpen for the series in Atlanta.

I've noticed that the girls have been staying away from the game thread, which may explain our recent mini winning streak

I'm betting we win tonight. Not real money or anything, but I have a good feeling.

Brought in Munoz just to face Hermida.. lmao.  Here comes Winston, hopefully this time his amazing minor league numbers actually translate to Major League success.

 Crap. I thought you had left kimnat. It was a joke anyway you know I like most of you girls.

But hold on a minute, the Debbi comment was a joke about Bowden not about anyone here.

Maybe the fact that no one has seen him lately will help.

I like his fastball A LOT, but last time he was here it was all he had. Hopefully he has something else in his arsenal now.

As soon as he went down to the minors he began to overpower hitters there. He just can't cut it at this level.

Cabrera still has a slightly closed stance.  He does better with it slightly open.  Since Presley, the "hitting coach" had Cabrera close it up, he's gone 27/110 (.245) through his last AB.
