How often do you watch this team?

Just believing in my favorite team. I don't give up on my team. Sorry if this isn't the way of the majority here.

McCann's 3-run homer was thrown below his knees.  Looked like a golf shot.  Once again, the Nationals help my fantasy team.  McCann's been slumping badly lately.

If you swing at a first pitch you better be damn sure you can get a hit

It's Catcher Night at Turner Field.  Schneider singled softly to shallow left center, Kearns scored, Church to second.  1 out.

You don't seem to know baseball too well. At least you start these threads, though. Useful.

That 1st pitch Dmitri hit was placed about 3 inches from perfect.  Hudson is back to form, getting ahead.  Like Ronny said, you gotta jump on him when you can.

Watson lines out on a 2-0 pitch.. sigh.  This team just never learns.

At-bats like that really don't give me much confidence.

Tim Hudson: 21 IP 2 ER against the Nationals this season (0.86 ERA).  That is just unacceptable

Yes it was. 1 run, then we have 2 on with 1 out and nada.  Nats baseball.

Nats are playing far beyond all of the "experts" expectations. They are at the total wins anticipated by some before the season. My confidence for this team is warranted...regardless of some "bad" at-bats. Sometimes you guys act like this team should be competing for the World Series...maybe YOUR optimism was/is too high.

That was a hittable pitch that Jiminez watched for strike 3.  Maybe had some movement, but he at least needed to foul it; clearly a strike as it approached the plate.  What was he looking for?  What is he hitting at Columbus if he can't hit that?  That could have been our best chance of the game.

Ayala looking good.. He is going to make this strong bullpen even better.  If only he could swing a bat
