I don't get him. It's not like he is getting a lot of hits swinging at the first pitch. In fact, he has gotten very few to no hits lately hacking at the first pitch.

he just doesn't get it. when he works the count and gets a good pitch to hit he is a solid player

IMO...He's been one of the biggest disappointments this season in a season of many disappointments. I really expected him to take that next step this season and become a more complete player. Now...I don't even know if the guy has a future with this team.
