cabrera pitches well enough to justify keeping him around (ERA-wise), but he's so terrible that every start i expect to be a disaster.

Holy crap.

Zimmerman is freaking INSANE

That play is a "web gem" by most standards - just look at the crazy amount of distance he covered.  But it looks like a fairly normal "scoop-up and throw" so it won't get any recognition for being a really tremendous play.

This happens with Z a lot.  He covers so much ground that extraordinary plays don't look like such.

That play is his bread and butter. He's made a career of making that play look routine while air-mailing the balls grounded right to him. Good thing for us that RZ has really been much better with the throws this year over the last several weeks.

Maybe we can work some deal and trade for him.

Daniel Cabrera is like Inspector Clouseau. Obviously an idiot, but never screws up so badly that you can finally fire him.

A 3-game winning streak would be nice.

Three up, three down against an 8.16 ERA.  It didn't take Kreskin to see that one coming.

this game is over.

Dodgers now will get to the meat of their bullpen. Broxton is the best relief pitcher in baseball.

Actually Broxton has had a bad couple of outings recently.  I know because he's on my fantasy and he blew a save last week.

I think I got all of the Cabrera hate out of my system during ST. He's actually done a lot better than I expected. He shouldn't be in the majors, though.

Cabrera's only at 82 pitches.  He could pitch a complete game.

If he were our All Star representative, the AL batters would be laughing so hard that they couldn't hit him.

Kensing warming up...

We have some good fastball hitters, so we'll have a chance if he comes in.
