Somebody answer this - I'd really like to hear how you could fix this team right now? Unless we trade Marrero for 2 serviceable bullpen guys  - I don't see how to do it.

No one seems to grasp this, if the Yankees can't buy good bullpen help right now when they desperately need it I don't know why anyone thinks the Nats should be able to get anyone.

The Lerners have to SPEND MONEY  on about 4 or 5 relief pitchers.

HOLY crap - how can they do that on 5/7. It's impossible. Bowden the fool had them convinced it would be great. They don't know thing 1 about baseball and trusted him.

Is Bowden pitching the game? What about Acta? They should've addressed all these issues in the off season but they don't want to spend money because they are freaking cheap and it would cut into their profits. I bet those bastards aren't even watching the game! They're probably dreaming about money signs.

This is what shows when one of the Lerners have an X-Ray.

I don't believe managers can do much to win games, but they sure can lose them. Wrong guy at the wrong time over and over again.

See above - Bowden talked everyone into his lunatic plan.

You are joking, aren't you?  I could listen to Vin Scully all night long, he is awesome, I'm actually listening to him instead of Dibble, and I love me some Dibble.

Don't be an idiot, most of us here realize that the issue can't be addressed at this point. We are disgusted by the mere fact that this issue didn't just pop up a couple of weeks ago. We knew this for a while yet they refused to address it because it didn't fit their budget.

This bullpen was unacceptably bad this offseason and the Lerners, Bowden, Kasten, Rizzo, everybody knew it.

And they did nothing to address it.

dump Mock, Kensing, Tavarez, and Hinckley.

Call up Bergmann, T-Clip, Ryan Wagner, Villone.

Trade NJ, Kearns, or Willingham for any relatively young reliever/starter.

Call up Stammen to replace D-Crab.

Send down Wells for Colome on May 15th.

Yes but that's one guy - and Jesus #2 comes up in a week. But we still need several more guys that can throw freaking strikes.

Ron Villone=Kip Wells as a lefty
You were crying for Mock for weeks
Wagner isn't healthy yet and has never shown us anything.
Bergmann is Bergmann, no guarantee he will ever get it together.
Clippard has never had ML success.
This is crap to try, but it's no solution.

That's fine. But pissing and moaning about Logan Kensing is stupid. They are throwing crap against the wall to see if anything sticks, because there's no other options.

If we score three more runs, I can get save points for Broxton!
