Why was Fick not playing back against McCann.  Why hold the runner on with a 3 run lead especially against a lefthander hitter?

We're one pitch away from being down in this game.

Some of the payroll increase has to go to address this issue.

Great game, glad i got to watch it! Two unlikely heroes, D-Lo playing like he did for the Clips and Fick going yard. Craziness.

his catch earlier in the season was probably the play of the year. But that collision was pretty sweet.

have you people forgotten Belly's behind the back pass?

Just got back not too long ago from the game.  Definitely one of the most entertaining games I have been to all year.  Lots of scoring and some pretty extraordinary plays (Kearns collision, Fick HR, Jimenez HR, Chipper DP).  I still don't know why Manny puts Chad in to close games any more especially against the Braves who own him but whatever.  BTW, the last 3 games I have been to I have worn a green shirt.  The Nationals are 3-0 in those games.  Before when I used to wear either my Nationals jersey or t-shirts the Nats were 3-8.

I'd give that a 3 out of 5 in difficulty. Kearns' was much tougher...and better.

Funny you should mention that, I wore a green shirt to tonight's game as well, though I did change into my WNFF shirt after the 3rd inning.

Watching the film of tonight's game, Chad seemed to be pitching well, but he wasn't getting any calls on the corners or at the knees. He had several pitches that I was shocked were not called strikes. He does have bad history with the Braves. I was kinda hoping that they would get a 3rd run in the 8th and Manny would go in a different direction, but it worked out.

SPIDERNAT I looked for you all night.  I was wearing 2 T-shirt and a Navy Blue Jacket.  It was a bit chilly last night.  Hope fully I'll see you today!
