Potomac new stadium site

I-95 corridor near Opitz blvd in Woodbridge.  Details still to be worked out. The plan is for a parking garage that would double as a commuter lot to raise revenue.  They want the stadium to be visible from I95.

I like its current location, but I guess any improvement is a positive!

A scenic view of the highway. Lovely. Hopefully it will use lots of concrete.

i wonder if they'll still be able to do the Sat. night fireworks show or if someone will declare it will distract drivers on I-95.  The fireworks at the Pfitz are really really good.

Cool, that is what Art Silber said during the stockholder meeting last year but nothing was finalized and it sounds like progress is being made and they certainly need a better stadium, no matter the location. Great to hear.

It looks like the announcement is coming tomorrow, and that the stadium will sit at Stonebridge - I-95/Potomac Mills area.

i can't imagine wanting to drive there during the week (I live in western PWC).  It takes about 30-40 minutes to get down to the Pfitz now.

I cannot wait to just slide down Route 1 the whole way. It'll be nice to finally have a proper minor league venue for the Potomac Nats.
