I'm just on the anti-Heat bandwagon... although I kinda like the Mavs (not strongly, but still). Dirk especially. And Peja of course.

Miami will win game 6. No way the NBA doesn't take ever measure at their disposal not to force a game 7. Miami disappears for stretches at a time almost in every game. Dallas does not take care of the basketball well. They have defensive lapses all the time. They don't rebound well. And at times they struggle executing their offense against the more athletic Heat. How did Miami not sweep Dallas?

i so can't wait until this series is over, there's no more over-analyzed sport in the world than basketball.  Find something else to talk about ESPN. :)

F the Heat.  I loved seeing Chris Bosh having a breakdown on his way to the locker room.  Congrats to the Mavs.

can't believe Dallas won, and Mark Cuban kept his mouth shut.

Wow, LeBron's legacy takes another hit.

Nice to see Jason Kidd get a ring, and Juwan Howard not get one.

The Mavs apparently have Tigerblood and Adonis DNA. I hate the NBA, but I loved seeing Miami lose.

What would that "legacy" have been prior to this?

Hey, come on, Pippen said he's better than Jordan, doesn't that count for something?

So I was walking around South Beach last month, and saw this guy go up to LeBron and say, "Do you have a dollar so I can get something to eat?"  LeBron reached into his pocket and gave the guy 75 cents.  The guy gives him a strange look, and LeBron apologizes, "Sorry, I don't have a fourth quarter."

Nice, JCA.

I don't follow the NBA at all but I'm still glad the Mavs won.

I actually like Erik Spoelstra, but other than that, really don't like the Heat.

Jason Kidd after winning the NBA Championship said,   “I’m happy to represent where I’m from and who didn’t make it.     But really I just identify with old people.    Old players.   The guys who just are sore, had a bunch of surgeries, can’t believe they’re still out there trying to take on the young guys at the “Y” or whatever.   Yep, just old dudes.”

did you hear about the new LeBron James High School - everyone gets to take off 12 minutes early.

LeBron should play Hockey - they only have 3 periods.

After that terrible and arrogant statement that LeBron made, the other day -they had a 3 man panel on ESPN, in the last two days, talk about how LeBron is the most hated man in Basketball, and how he just keeps making statements and saying things that make the Fans absolutely hate him.  It's almost a pathetic joke -how he keeps trying to sabotage himself and his career by his mouth-per ESPN Basketball analysts. I found the whole discussion very entertaining...... :mg:
