No I don't mean it that way - I mean it in a way like, he's thinking: "My God, I've done everything I can...this team is just too crappy...I can't do anything else to make it even halfway decent". That's the look he has. 
I agree, I've seen the same look on his face at times. This team is not very good and to compound that their luck is just awful (examples from tonight: They face a starting pitcher that they can actually hit but he leaves in the 2nd, Padres bloop hit on the line that made that a costly inning).
