Yeah, first game thread. The only matching pictures I could find of Olsen and Volstad were those mini ones, lol. Plus I couldn't find the Marlins lineup, whatever, I can only improve. Hopefully we'll see Ramos or Espinosa in limited action tonight.

Well the managers are seeing who can make a worse lineup. That has to be the bet. Look for some rare quadruple switches now with extra men on the bench.

As bad as our lineup is, the Marlins might be worse. Maybin Morrison 1-2 is as bad as Morgan-Guzman was. I seriously have never heard of Brad Davis and Donnie Murphy. The Marlins are the only team that consistently trots out players I've never heard of before.

A double double switch.  Riggleman's probably got chubs just thinking about it.

I was thinking about putting up the disclaimer (I am a MD basketball fan). I've never heard of a Brad Davis who has played Baseball. Of course the Marlins still employ the Nationals castoff Brian Sanches. The first instance in history where the Nationals sign a castoff, he performs as a castoff, then somehow joins another team instead of retiring from baseball.

So Nyjer gets beaned, you pinch run for him with Espinosa, and then double switch in Ramos into the leadoff spot, skipping the pitcher's first AB. Wait, what?

Riggleman is drooling thinking of all the Double Switch possibilities.

The scenario below would work if you put in a 0 pitch starter like you mentioned. Just use yesterday's starter.

As some have said on Twitter... is Jim managing for his job again? If he thinks he is, he'll never play the kids.

And what the hell is Morgan doing to deserve to be back at the top of the lineup?!?
