Maya should never IBB anyone because he can't guarantee that he won't walk the next guy.

Teach me your ways.

Davey and McCatty look like they're sending a message to Rizzo about Maya. "See????"

They should just do the honorable thing and send him to the glue factory.

His dad must look at him and shake his head, wondering what it was he ate or drank before that night so many years ago...

Almost a perfect evening.  Just needed HRod to throw a wild pitch and for us to strikeout 20 times.

This would be a good time Marrero's first XBH

Didn't he hit a double earlier in the game?

Why don't you save yourself some angst and just have some milk and cookies and go to bed?

That could actually have a double meaning.

Just noticed: the stadium is so empty and the voices carry so well, that this feels like a classic September game at Griffith or DC Stadium. Ah...even FP notices something.

It was a different sort of Nats crowd, with less than a quarter of the park full for a dreary weekday game, the fans in the stands were paying close attention to the game, you could just tell that there wasn't nearly the level of random chatter.  Then when Stras left, the energy level fell off the table, it was like everyone fell asleep, we hardly managed to drown out the couple of ahole Dodgers fans.

It also would have been nice to score in more than one inning.
