Thanks for that. Now I dont feel like a dumbass for asking about Desmond

Maybe it's common knowledge, but I had never heard about that defensive decision before. Interesting.

Losses in winnable games, I've figured out, make me feel as if I've been personally robbed.  That's why they bother me so much.

Time = Money. We spend time watching this game. We have a chance to win it but then it goes awry. That time invested is taken from us!!!!

The fact that it seems like talking points faxed to all the broadcasters and media makes it worse.

I've felt that myself.

He sits in his room in the dark eating white rice and drinking milk and yelling at a tv. Why would you watch that?
If it was on History channel and followed one of the following show naming themes I would:

American _________
____ Men
______ in Alaska

Not that I like watching them lose, but honestly baseball season probably saves me a ton of money...  that's 3 hours a night that I'd be looking for something else to entertain me, and probably spending money on said entertainment a decent % of the time.

Marlins went from losing 4-1 to up 6-4 pretty quickly.

The Astros are the worst team in baseball.. other than the Nats of course.

Ok, not to be a total dick but does anyone, outside of the FO, think LaRoche is an "impact player"?

Question/homework for the more enterprising stat guys:

How do the Nats compare to other teams in coming back from blown leads?

How long will we allow Morse to bat in the heart of the lineup hitting like this?

Of course not, but I'm willing to give him a chance.  I don't want him as my #4 hitter though, He is solid and is known to be a slow starter.
