I'm calling the 2nd inning now:

Kearns - flyout
Church - base hit or a strike out
Restovich - groundout (possibly DP)
Schneider - groundout (if Church gets on and Restovich doesn't GIDP)

Keep callin' 'em!!!

The Chief does not believe in the Manny-Plan.
Church doubled to deep right, Kearns scored. (fastball)

bad at-bat from Restovich, could have at least advanced the runner.  Brian flies out and now the pitcher is up.

Had restovich moved Church over that would've scored another run. We squander too many chances.

Yeah, his mission was to put it in play, because Schneider was less likely to do anything.

Would have liked to have scored 2 there but I'm more than happy with 1 with the way this offense has been struggling.

yeah, glad he got benched the other day...makes him HUNGRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday is the worst day to make a point with Church.  His batting stats are about twice as good in DAY games, which nearly all Sunday games are.  Punish him in a night game.  I did read that he has shin splints, which can be very painful, and not good for someone covering CF.

Bri-Schnei FLIES out, doesn't ground out as Chief said... who didn't have Bergmann hitting...

I love it when the defensive placing works to our advantage.

Predictions for 3rd inning Chief?

plus, a good manager wont worry about the stats! he saw an no-no, and he corrected it. i like the fact he didnt care who he pissed off. not saying he did, but he did it for church and the team.

Great play by Zim but Young didn't have his foot on the bag.. and he gets the error and rightfully so.

SOB... And Young's dumb @$$ cost us a run.  Can't wait until NJ comes back.  This is why we have the worst record in baseball.
