Ok ... not too terrible - still only 2 runs on the board - would love some offense here ...

But honestly, Traber's skill set doesn't really include pitching to righties.  We know that.

Well then maybe they should allow us to pull him every time a righty comes up and to reinsert him when a lefty is due up or maybe they should prorate his salary to reflect that he can only get lefties out.

We've got pretty much the entire free world on our DL right now - they're not a lot of options - we already have two rookies in the rotation that wouldn't even be sniffing the bigs on any other team - it is what it is -

I can't wait until Lerner starts opening up the check book and signing some pitchers for next year.   :icon_exclaim:

Two runs and a stolen base by the best basestealer in baseball does not quite equal "disaster". But of course to hear sportsfan tell it, we never play anyone with talent. Our opponents are all noname aa scrubs that deserve no credit whatsoever for anything

I'm happy we called up enough people to get Hanrahan and Redding in the bigs, though. Woo hoo!

Actually John Maine is a beast but they have regular outings like this against below average pitchers and to deny that is ridiculous.

Brian Schneider has saved about five or six wild pitches.

Nobody is denying anything - but to expect this team to consistently light up the scoreboard every night is not realistic - the Nats don't have the horses in the line up to do that - they just don't.
