Can we get dump Ray Knight and get Paciorek back?  Im sick of hearing Mets history on a Nats station.  Freaking sick of it.  BARF.

I just did a search to see if Paciorek was working this year and discover, lo and behold, that he was a MLB player.  I didn't know that.

BTW, according to Wikipedia, he's not working this season.

nice job Traber.

They just mentioned Glavine going for 300 wins on Tuesday. Think of all the historic moments that are going on this season. Biggio 3000 hits. Hoffman 500 saves. Sosa 600 (chemically enhanced) bombs. ARod with 500 jacks. Probably M Ramirez with 500 also. Bonds with his juiced record. And then you have Griffey adding to his total plus Clemens with his (possibly aided) wins.

Yes, it is quite a year for milestones - though I don't sense any of the same buzz I did when Cal broke the streak, or when McGuire and Sosa were in the homerun chase, or even when Bonds hit 73 that one year ... quiet fanfare for sure ...

How about a former Expo or Senator announcer? Andre Dawson?
It doesn't really matter to me...just so long as they know what they are talking about and don't spend the entire time talking about OTHER teams.   :?  I've been pretty happy with Sutton this year actually.

Yeah he said this was the only job he wanted so since he didn't get it he would retire.

Reyes is digging Traber on the mound - he was 2-14 in the series before today

awful...  If you can get Reyes out, you can beat the Mets.  If you can't then you get smoked

Paciorek always got wood when he talked about David Wright, even when we weren't playing the Mets.

Why? Does he like to eat burgers and not pay for them?

Ok ... he was just in ... very close - still I'm surprised he called him safe with the ball getting there before the runner

I would do that if the sound was running with the video...but it doesn't.  Too bad...cause that would be perfect.  I used to do that with Redskin games.

reject.. Get Traber off the field.  He is a disaster.  I mean when Manny puts him out there starting and puts this starting lineup on the field,  does he actually think his team has even the slightest chance to win the game?

But honestly, Traber's skill set doesn't really include pitching to righties.  We know that.
