ahhh didn't realize Schroder had gotten in the game and the Traber on the DL thing was a joke sheesh!   :o

I know you didn't mean it - it's cool - Traber is being asked to do what he's was not signed on to do - I give him credit for at least giving it a go - I'm certainly not pleased with the result - but I'm not going to throw the guy under the bus either ...

This is nice - I can watch them put Cal and Tony in the HOF - two of my favorites.

Ha ... did you ever see the SNL spoof they did with Annie and the NYC mayor Koch? He was on a ledge, threatening to jump - then Annie comes on the ledge and starts singing, "... The Sun will come out Tomorrow! ..."

Koch pushed her off the ledge ... it was hilarious

Serves her right...That nag!

Hi all. Just got back for the hospital; Mom was in for a few days but I just brought her home. At 87 we are VERY cautious!
Is it just a delay, or have they called the game? I know it's 0-5, but we all now it's not impossible for us to come back and win this thing.

Delayed.  Don't know how long they'll wait before the game is called.

Wow houston gave up 11 runs in the FIRST!

Don't look so fast.  The score is now 15-11, San Diego in the bottom of the 5th.  The Astros scored 7 in the fourth and 3, so far, in the 5th and they're still at-bat!

The need to just call this game and have our boys come home to get ready for the homestand.

So how does everyone feel about the game being called?  On the one hand, it's possible (though to me unlikely) that we could have come back and won it.  On the other hand, maybe we should be grateful for the extra day of rest that it gives to the pen.

I would always choose a chance for a W  - I would have liked to have seen what the Nats could have done against the met's pen ... but as it is  - the rest for the pen is definitely a GOOD thing ..
