They're a lot farther from contention than their fanbase seems to think. I know I might be a touch biased, but it's going to be be very hard for them to wrestle the division away from us and Atlanta in the years to come.
I think they will slide farther away. They are tough, and that wins a lot of games, but they are thin. Early in the season, Boswell picked the Nats and Braves as the rising teams, and Fillies as the team about to crumble. Look at the Fillies roster, look at the age, and then look for young players.
