Meh... was a Thrashers fan for far too long. Can't really become a hockey fan of the Caps. Or the Lightning. Or the Panthers (wait, who is?). Or, ESPECIALLY not the 'Canes. Still hate them.

It's tough, can't really root for the Jets because... well, that'd just be wrong. I still root for the players that played in the ATL and said great things about it (Kovalchuk, Kane, Boulton, etc.), just can't cheer for the Jets themselves (I know Kovy's not on the Jets, but it was to prove a point).

It's really just WEIRD not having a hockey team. As much as I'd like to root for Ovechkin and all... it'd just be too weird.

Well, if you are looking for a hockey team, try college hockey. It's not too late to jump on the National Champions bandwagon.

Already got my college team, but thanks though.

Lifelong ND guy, as well as ND student. 4 generations of my family too. So that's already set in stone.

Hockey's a great sport. I just miss it.

Thanks for that info. A lot of us have been wondering where he went. I miss his postings. The other thing is between the moderators and him. I got no dog in that fight.

This is the internet. My comment only pertains to Mathguy's post. I don't know anything about how the moderators work or why MDS disappeared.

MarquisDeSade is still participating in the free 14-team 2013 WNFF fantasy baseball league. He won it the last two years and had the best record each year, by a big margin. He's really good at picking up rising stars. During the Live Draft, he asked how this Forum was going. I told him that he is still being quoted.

New to the forum.

Ive been a Nats fan since day one. I have attended many games at RFK (love that place). Taking my wife to the May 10th Game - it will be our first game at the new stadium.

I hope they can pull out of this funk by then and get the pictching straightened up.
