Let's face it, we are very, very lucky go go home with a 1-1 split in St. Louis. They have completely dominated us.

Oh goddamit, Jordan.

Fastball backed up into his bat.  Textbook home run ball.

Absolute garbage. Jordan is not an Ace nor a #2.

Only 6 nl pitchers had a better era over the season.  How many aces and number 2's do you think there are in the league?

Zimmermann is getting bombed...I'd like to see our starters records this year with more than 5 games rest? McCatty has'd to start doing a better job of preparing them for this.
Some of these guys just need to get over their issues. Jordan for whatever reason always struggles vs the Cardinals. I don't know if it's a mental block or what.

JZ due up third next inning.  If we get runners on, Davey has to PH for him.

He'll see big regression next year. His stuff is too hittable. Not enough missed bats. Needs to learn a third pitch (changeup).

Oh well. Did anyone really think we were going to sweep both road games? I think most people would have taken 1-1 at the outset.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm utterly thrilled that our postseason fate rests on Jackson and Detwiler having good starts.

True.  I'll definitely take 1-1 considering how bad this team has played in Busch Stadium over the years.

The supposed division advantage this new format is supposed to provide has been minimized at nearly every turn so far this year.  Figures it would be the year the Nats have the best record.
