In case anyone is interesed Ramsey threw an interception on his first pass and Garnder scored the first touchdown for Carolina.

Vlady .... Guzzy had a nice line drive RBI hit to right ......

I saw it.

and I promptly went to the window to check for signs of the apocalypse.

you know, meteors falling from the sky, people rioting in the streets, that sort of thing.

Gosh JMIV,  Guzzy's gonna get some decent hits!  Actually, he might get over .200 in this series .....

Yay Nick!  Nice double.  I wish I could watch the Nats on TV.   :(  But MLB.com helps a lot.

Oh well, seems silly to start carping right now.

On the other hand, once Preston Wilson strikes out again, I'm going to be vicious.

How would you feel to play on a team where Byung-Hun Kim starts regularly?

I have to think it would be terribly depressing.

'STROS LOSE!  And we're up 6-0.

Barring an unprecedented season-destroying meltdown, it's looking like we may gain a game here.

Thus far we are witnessing the season's most improbable shutout.

12 hits for the Rockies and no runs scored, talk about timely pitching.

How can you not be excited about beating the worst team in baseball?

Any time you win, no matter who you're playing, its a good thing... So why not get excited...  I've been listening to the game on MLB Radio while working and, even at 6-0 it's been hard on the nerves...

Darn excited. We need a little momentum going in to the Phillies and Mets series.
Lets go nats!

Let's not start walking them, Hector.

I just want out of this inning.  I'd be bringing in the Chief for the 9th even though it's not a save situation.  I'm that paranoid.
