Which is amazing considering he's been pinch hitting in this series.  He only gets one chance!

Not to go off-subject but...

Am I the only one that wants to keep Alfonso Soriano? Or trade him and re-sign him this offseason.

He looks like hes a player that gives good effort, he said he likes being here, and is very good all-around offensively.

Well, at least he didn't ground into a double play.

You know we're in trouble when two people have the same bad thought at the same time!  :|

You know, we just can't get that key freaking hit to give us a big inning.  Vidro could have been a hero with an unheard of 2 out rbi base hit.  Speaking of Vidro - I wonder if anybody has ever kept this stat - he must have the fewet rbi's in history for a #3 batter that is hitting over .300.  It's amazing.

Here is a sobering thought - it is now up to our bullpen.  Gulp.

I know, that's pretty impressive. I would like to Escobar stay healthy and get a long look at playing every day in center. Vidro's base running is pathetic. OH, OH Rivera is in the game!

We just can't do it.  Can't get the clutch hit with 2 outs.

Guillen may be gone by tomorrow.

Here's the irony: Escobar should be starting in CF (he's been hitting over.400 April and now), with Kearns in RF.  But Guillen finally stopped swinging at junk and got the walk, so Escobar could drive him in.  I think Guillen is trade bait, but Kearns isn't doing much with his bat.  We already knew he strikes out a lot but he has a good OBP and he threw out a man at the plate from CF Friday.

Sunday is the ONLY day in 2006 where the Nationals have a winning record, so we should win this.  As bad as we are, the Pirates are worse.  God has a bet on the Nationals.

I suggest the offense keeps scoring.

...which, of course, they have to if we're going to win the game!  :D

Kearns - somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't even think he has hit a ball out of the infield for us yet.  Am I wrong?

Rivera's gonna hand this game over on a silver platter.  All the Bucs gotta do is NOT swing.

How long will it take before the management realizes that Rivera is not a big league pitcher? He can't throw strikes and when he does, he gets hammered.
