For anyone in the WNFF Fantasy baseball league, TODAY is the annual Patriot Day, where the Boston Red Sox game started at 11 am.  So our lineups are now locked for the day.

Here is the series that will tell if this team is ready for the next step.  We need to win the series and maybe even sweep it.  Good teams beat the bad teams...  stuff like that.

We need not only to win but to BEAT THEM SENSELESS LIKE THE LOSERS THEY ARE!!!  Anything less than a +20 run differential against the Astros will be failure.

Should be a good game, heck so far all of them have been good.
We need to watch our backs the Mets are not that far behind, and we lost an edge by yesterdays loss. Good thing the Mets also lost, but they are playing Snotlanta which is being Hotlanta lately. We need to get a good cushion going on our backside.

JD Martinez has been crushing the ball recently. He would have had like 4 HRs against Miami if their stadium was a reasonable size. CJohnson and Altuve have been hitting pretty good, too.

It'll be interesting to see what attendance will be like tonight:

HELPING ATTENDANCE - Strasburg start, good weather
HINDERING ATTENDANCE - uncompelling opponent, conflict with Caps playoff match

...meanwhile, announced attendances at the Thursday and Saturday fixtures of the now-completed Reds series were the two highest ever at Nats Park against this opponent (40,907 Thursday, 35,489 Saturday)...topping the old record set on 4th June 2010 (33,774 - the famous 'Strasburg debut that wasn't' when rumours went out about a week earlier that that would be his debut).

Nats Park record attendance for a visit by the Astros: 33,653 (Friday 11th July 2008)

Nats Park record attendance for a Monday fixture: 41,290 (the notorious 5th April 2010 home opener vs Phillies)

Nats Park record attendance for a non-Opening-Day Monday fixture: 34,789 (30th May 2011 vs Phillies - Memorial Day)

Nats Park record attendance for a non-Opening-Day, non-holiday Monday fixture: 26,209 (9th June 2008 vs Giants)

i'll keep an eye on caps game for sure (def during commercials and i may even just hook up two tv's), but no doubt my heart and soul will be into nats game.

oh and if we lose tonight's game, i think every single member should be banned for a day or something.

this is the lock game of the year.

No, second word ends with the mouth closed, can't be "boy".  Could be "up", though.
