So, I know one win among 162 games doesn't count more than any other, but jumping apologist sheep, that was a big win last night.  A couple key things, I think:

No matter what happens in the next two games, the Nats will have three games left head-to-head with the Braves and be no worse than four games up.

.500 from here is 96 wins and forces the Braves to play 26-14 (.650) to catch us.

Biggest lead we've had in the division all year.

Stras pitching tonight to go up seven.

IDK, the Braves haven't been able to beat the Nats for 3 years.  Some teams just have a nemesis like that.  Nats head to Miami to face their other nemisis, normally.  Gotta get focused again.  I think they will, but that doesn't change the fact they've still got the best record in baseball.  Every team has stretches like this vs. good and bad teams.  Braves have lost 6 of their last 8.

That is correct. The Reds lost something like 6 in a row and we have far better pitching than them. We're just spoiled rotten these days.
