he should ... other than providing 2 rbi's yesterday, he's been godawful recently.  i still like him as our everyday centerfielder, but he needs a break.

You have to give Maxwell the PT. Have to. Sit Willingham and play NJ though.

manny said earlier this week no matter what johnson would get a day off on sunday.  it's the right move he needs a day off.

umm he's been our 3rd best hitter after dunn and NJ.

yeah but in the last couple games he's been making mistakes and leaving RISP.  i didn't say he was terrible, i just said he's been bad recently.  his error cost us three runs yesterday in the first inning.  couldn't recover after that.

it's just a day off, that's it.

Was Ray Knight just talking about smacking Dukes in the mouth and going toe to toe with him if he was manager?

Dukes is 0-4 as a PH. He is batting .327/.389/.571 (.960 OPS) as a starter. A once proud franchise is going downhill too fast.

Now that is good leadoff batting. take  a walk if there is one there. no need to swing, so he doesn't.

Good start. Even that old guy Belliard got a hit. Too bad Zimmerman swung on the first pitch.
