He's found a lot of nuts recently.

Yeah he's stocking up for the winter.

I don't understand whats wrong with this team. We are on fire for the first month and a half. That shouldn't be fluke. Thats enough baseball to show that we can play like that.

When our pitching is on, our offense isn't. When our offense is on, our pitching isn't. When neither is on, we get shut down by David Hernandez.

Our problem is our lack of scoring runs in recently. We haven't had a problem like that at all this season except for the past week. Remember we were scoring runs in the 7th coming back? This was recently. Now we can't. This mimics what we've been doing in '08, '09. We would score maybe 1-2 runs in the first three innings and then be done. Those were our wins and our weakness. We gotta get out from that!

it's a long season, we're about to get a heck of a spark from Syracuse, and it wouldn't surprise me to see Rizzo do something to fill the RF void fairly soon.

yeah i like what bernadina is bringing to the table but i think he's more of a 4th OF.  we need some pop from that spot.

I'm still optimistic. This team is entering a very easy stretch of the schedule. I also have complete confidence in Mike Rizzo and Jim Riggleman.

It's all Dunn's fault. We should've known that having a loser of that caliber on this team would bring the entire organization down. Even Zimmerman has gone hitless the last two games which means Dunn is starting to infect him.  :whip:

The short answer:  The Nats have stopped catching the ball.
