Wow, Kearns.  You just looked like a freaking fool there.  At least Dukes came close and has enough athleticism to make that play almost forgiveable.  He also wasn't near the right field corner, so he had back-up.

That was bad by Kearns, all-around.  Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Yeah they need some serious defensive work in their off-time.

Kearns is a laughingstock out there. looks so slow and awkward.

our OF defense has cost us 2 runs tonight and our infield (pitcher) defense cost us 1 run.

He could've even made that catch if he had taken a different angle to it, but he had to try to catch it backhanded.

freaking moron :bang:

They even had a freaking off day before today!  I can't fathom an excuse for that.

Fire Acta.

Really, that is inexcusable to not hit some balls to his fielders so they could get an idea how this ballpark plays.
And Olsen was very good tonight, he deserved much better defense behind him.

runner on 2nd with no outs and they score none.

it's embarrassing. we will be 3-12 after this one but we should be much better than this. we should have 6-8 wins at this point. Acta is not getting the most out of these players.

Infield defense wouldn't have made much of a difference.

OUTFIELD defense is what killed the Nats, and you can blame Acta for that.  This cutesy diving crap needs to stop.  Players who do that need to be fined.
