NOTE: After announcing his candidacy for president before the game, Rick Perry will throw out the first pitch, sing the national anthem, and lead a "Texas State Inning of Prayer." During the Texas Inning of Prayer, attendees, viewers at home, players, and the umpire are asked to maintain a respectful silence in honor of those who wish to pray. And especially don't call those elitist hippies at the ACLU.

Time to snap out of it...Houston has worst record in MLB at 31-64 (.326), 6 1/2 games behind second-worst Cubs...here's a golden opportunity for the Nats to get back on track - we need to sweep the disAstros.

We gotta beat these bums senseless tonight.  Anything less than a 12-0 shellacking will be considered a failure!

Hopefully a 2-1, 3-0 series sweep is in order for the Nats.

If not we're going to need this when we face Matt Kemp and the Dodgers:

I can't wait to attend a WNFF meet-up someday. "Gah! These nachos suck! Rizzo should be fired!"

Jordan Lyles is winless in 8 career starts in the Bigs. He's only 20 though and is a pretty good prospect.

How fitting for him to get his first big league win against the Nats tonight :?

Werth will get 3 of the Nats 5 hits (all singles).  Nats lose 2-1    :mg:

I think I'd rather lose but see Werth hit a couple of home runs than win and have him go 0-5 again   :whip:

Herpes.

Anyone catch the Junkies this morning.  Apparently Werth and Zimmerman were at Atlantis over the All-Star break.

I'm starting to think that Sportsnyan is my cousin, the sociopath.  Of course, my cousin eats his own feces and thinks he's Ted Nugent but his logic is pretty much identical to Sportsnyan.

This is just a joke, just taking the piss out of you Sportsnyan you damn bum.  :whip:

I predict the Nats lose on a Carlos Lee pop-up homer into the Crawford Boxes.

I'm predicting more of a down by one with Jayson Werth striking out with the bases loaded ending myself.

I saw Austin Kearns hit a home run into the Crawford Boxes once.

Brandon Watson. He had a career SLG of .279.

Nah.  It'll be nobody out and he'll hit into a triple play.
