Good catch by Morse

Yep.  If he misjudges it just a tad, it might be out.

Thank you Omar Infante for that bunt out.  Still baffled/grateful he did that.
Yeah that made absolutely no sense.

 ... it's a 1-0 game in the bottom of 1st, interesting.

In general, small ball is stupid and hurts your chances of scoring runs. *

Oh I don't disagree.

Ramos is doing his best to lock down the catching job.  It seems obvious to everyone but Riggs that he is the starting catcher for this team.

Nice, but make it 3 in a row and then bring up Detwiler

remember when folks were :panic: when werth was batting less than .200 in spring training ... desmond will be fine.  and his defense so far looks great (knock on wood).

We heard the "guess who was working out next to me" story with Dibble and Pudge last year.

Now it's FP and Cora.

Heh.

see i disagree ... he came out the other day and said they would split the first 10 games and in the process they'd groom ramos as the everyday guy.  so the plan is already in affect.  i'm glad it's happening now and not 2 months into the season.

pudge as our backup catcher :az: i'll take it

The Marlins outfield defense is going to be atrocious with Infante in CF and Bonifacio in right. We need bloops!

If there's a time for a player to bunt, I don't mind a pitcher doing that.

Of course, Marquis is a decent hitter... so maybe he should swing away.

Speaking of Logan Morrison...

Why is his name highlighted in ESPN boxscore?  It was like this last year too.

Riggs avoiding the DP, playing to not lose, I hate it.

Ramos might be ROY

I think Espinosa is going to get it. Hopefully both end up in the top 5. That'd be great.
