Two facts worth pointing out:

- Ryan Church seems resurrected, at least briefly - 4 hits and 4(?) RBIs in his last five at-bats.

- And has anybody noticed the fact that Preston Wilson has suddenly become white-hot?

Come on offense, get some more runs.

How 'bout another 6 run inning?

You know, I wouldn't really mind another six run inning or two or three, really.... why not? ;-)

But rare.

Then again, we've had two within a span of five innings.  So maybe we're due again in the top of the 6th?   :P

Wow...maybe I was off by an inning?  Wilson and Castilla and Bennett on with nobody out.

AHAHAHA Mel Proctor just flat-out disrespected Padilla!  "He is just AWFUL!"

Now, the bases are loaded with no outs.

How many runs will we score?

This is a good test.

Could well end up being none.  Up comes Church with two out...

Ha!  Let them defeat themselves!  Church is walked, 1 run scores, up comes Vidro, who's due....

Okay, only one run.  Normally I'd start grousing about our inability to really pull off a huge rally, but...well, yeah.  That'd look pretty stupid given the last two games.

One run.  I wouldn't give that a passing grade.

Indeed.  But it was also coming from the weakest section of our order today.  Guz-Pitcher-Church (not weak)-Vidro (who hasn't hit today).  Had it been placed elsewhere it could have been ugly.

Still, frustrating to say the least.  Well, not so much today.

This is just the bottom of the 5th?  There is so many more outs left in this game.

Arrrgh.  So it's 7-3 Nats.  Yeah, let's not let them make a comeback here. THIS one would hurt to lose.

...and the lead is down to 4 runs.

We need our offense to wake up again.

Dangit, why does Nick (OR ANYONE) have to swing on the first pitch?  This guy is a mook, and you always have to MILK THE MOOK.
