Made him throw some pitches. Needed to score there, though.

I don't know. :(

this team is just infuriating. all of those great ABs against a good pitcher and they get nothing. They will go quiet the rest of the night now. We have seen it happen a million times.

Terrible.  This bum is on the ropes and we let him off the hook.

When our pitchers have a rough first inning and then settle down, they're in the hole 3 or 4 runs.  When we give other pitchers a "rough" first inning, they throw an extra 10 or 12 pitches and that's it :?

QFT

our offense is too accommodating. they don't make pitchers pay for walking batters.

I think he's here to stay. I hate that our rotation had to suck to get him up here, but he might not have seen the bigs this season had that not happened.

Funny footage of Dibble. I hate it when people get in the way of letting someone take care of their business. All they do is freak things up and potentially get somebody hurt.  :?

too late for that. 2 out meltdowns have plagued him forever in the Minors. He just doesn't buckle down and get 3 outs.

No excuse to allow a run there.

why is it that we get 4 baserunners in the 1st inning and dont score a run, and they get a run on a 2 out base-hit by their # 8 hitter

Washington Nationals baseball. Detwiler can't get 3 outs in an inning. Nats hitters refuse to capitalize on pitchers mistakes.

This game is over already. the offense freaking sucks.
