Unless of course you're a fatty and/or you lift weights, in which case, it's a breakfast of diabetes and liver failure

Roads are freaked here.  Of course I'm stupid and came to work anyway.

It seems to be worse the farther north you go.  Sticking to roads in Montgomery County Maryland, and plowing them does little to keep side roads clear.

Rockville MD at 1:35pm

Seems to be a crust (sleet?) on the snow cover in E. Loudoun.

CWG says the break line is now I-66, north of it is much worse than south.

road noise must be a pain at night, along with the drunk drivers.

7 inches of snow has fallen in Frederick MD, the most in the area.

Interesting.  One station just said 1.5 inches in Springfield.  Most of them are reducing their snowfall amount forecasts but some seem to be staying with the original. Worst is it will be awful cold next few days.

remind me to wave next time I drive by you at 55 MPH. :)

not much accumulation out here in western PWC so far, maybe 2", but blowing like crazy and coming down pretty steadily.  Shoveling will be kind of pointless.  Last I heard we have about 5-6 more hours, so I'd bet we'll end up with 4-5" total.

We're approaching 4" here in the rural backwoods of Oakton.  Less on paved surfaces but about 3.5" in lawn areas.

Yeah, we live in Kingstowne and my back has been stiff all week, so I just now went outside and ran the snowblower instead of using a shovel. Much more satisfying anyway. I'm glad it started up since it hadn't been used in at least two years!

Don't push your luck on the old gas thing, do you treat? Ethanol is exceptionally corrosive to fuel systems if allowed to sit.  Water starts separating out of it too.
